After 20 years in an international career that included marketing, business development and consutling with top fims such as Kroll and Control Risks Group, I decided to follow my passion of helping others to communicate effectively and become better leaders, and started Crossborder Coaching. I was certified by the Coach Training Alliance in March of 2003, I am also a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and helped to start up the Mexico City chapter. I am a certified to use and train with Inscape’s Epic DiSC, a powerful tool for understanding communication and behavioral styles in the workplace, andalso qualified to administer the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator). I received an MBA from the Arthur D. Little School of Management (currently Hult International Business School) in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and a B.S in Administration from the University of New Hampshire where I had a second major in Spanish. A native of Boston, Massachusetts, I consider myself now a "chilangringa" (half mexican-half gringa) and have lived and traveled extensively in Latin America, Europe and the US; first by taking an academic year abroad at the University of Valencia, Spain, and since then working in Finland, Japan, Miami and now Mexico. I am fluent in Spanish, and ave a working knowledge of Japanese. Iin my free time, I am an avid kayaker, and also enjoy mountain biking, yoga, reading and exploring Mexico’s rich cultural heritage.
