Robert Bowen is a certified career coach specializing in providing career assistance to Human Resources professionals. He helps his clients to achieve positive results through the use of a 5 point methodology. In addition, Robert is a coach with The Five O'Clock Club, a national organization offering career coaching for professionals, managers and executives through a nationwide network of branches.
Robert is also a Webster alumni graduating with a Master’s Arts degree in Management in 1979.
He began his professional career in the private sector with over 26 years of professional Human Resource management experience in multiple industries. His career has taken him across the United States working with diverse clientele including Fortune 500 clients such as McDonald’s and PacifiCare. He has successfully coached many levels of management and employees to find greater success in their positions while adding value to their organizations.
Robert has enjoyed a 28 year military career serving both in an active and reserve role. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in June 2004. He was deployed to Desert Storm and the Balkans during the times of conflict.
He is an active member of the national Society for Human Resources Management. Robert received his Senior Professional in Human Resources credential from the Human Resources Certification Institute. He currently instructs in the field of human resources as an Adjunct Professor at California State University San Marcos.
