Dr. Boyle has served in several capacities in public and private sector organizations, from industrial production lines and overseas military combat units to multinational corporations, NASA flight facilities, and as a Chief Operating Officer of a start-up company. He possesses expertise in Organizational Behavior, Group Processes, Human Resources and Workforce Development, Business Strategy, Technology and Distance Learning, Research and Development, and Process Improvement. Dr. Boyle currently serves as the NASA Academy of Program, Project, and Engineering Leadership (APPEL) Program Manager, where he is responsible for developing NASA Project Managers and Systems Engineers for the Vision for Space Exploration. He possesses a Masters in Human Resources from Boston University, a Masters in Industrial Organizational Psychology from George Mason University, and a Doctorate in Human Development from Virginia Tech. Dr. Boyle completed his CTA Coaching Certification in 2004. He teaches Knowledge Management for Virginia Tech, and maintains an active research agenda. |
