love to become active part of this group, would like to hear what's happening with this group
I am a franchisee coach and i work with potential franchisee who wants to buy a franchise.
My challenge is finding more customers who are searching for franchise to buy. I will appreciate any suggestion.
Thanks,
Eze
Have you tried looking at your local chamber of commerce? They usually have a listing of all businesses in the county/city and also have professional networking events. Also a good place to try to meet new business owners is your local SBA or SCORE chapter.
I'm a 2010 CTA grad and new to this group. Would love to hear what folks are doing and what your greatest challenge is right now in growing your business.
I've recently made a shift in my focus and am now working with married women-preneurs who want to make more money, keep more money and have more fun!
My greatest challenge right now is finding places to do speaking presentations so I can build my network and client base. I'd love to hear from those of you who have done presentations to find out how you lined up those speaking engagements.

Hi Jean,
I've found a lot of tips and help at www.speakerservices.com
Susan Levin is a well known speaker that helps folks learn how to find speaking gigs. Lisa Sasevich is a great resource to look into once you've found speaking engagements and want to work on your presentation (to go from speaking to selling).
Finally getting to this profile. It will be nice to meet you all.

that's a great question Sarah!
In my opinion the certification is important if it brings value to your practice or if you are working on becoming credentialed by the ICF of course...
How many of you are ICF members?
I'm a member of ICF and find my local chapter to be a great resource. However, they're introducing changes to their credentialing criteria that i find a bit confusing.
I use a triangle method ... where each point of the triangle needs to bring in x dollars before adding another section ...
That's an interesting concept. I got into coaching to help women experience more joy with less stress by narrowing their focus to what they are truly meant to do. I've expanded to include leading women's retreats and also do some photograhy.
Hi Lauran,
I haven't met too many experienced coaches who can sustain their lifestyle with income only for coaching. The ones I have met are either in executive coaching, do a lot of speaking engagements, and furthermore, have very good branding to set them apart from the rest.
Personally, in this economy, by evaluating and creating my vision for life, I've found that the best solution for me is to not be reliant on any one source of income. I have a full time job and also my coaching business - I'm not sure that either is really that reliable. The most reliable thing to me is to have multiple sources of income.
